IRON MAIDEN Producer Seeks Vocalist For 'Incredible' New Band

Veteran rock producer Kevin Shirley (IRON MAIDEN, DREAM THEATER, SOIL, NEUROTICA) has posted the following message on his official web site:

"I am looking for a singer — a young woman — to sing and be part of an incredible hard rock/metal band. The band is set, and is of such incredible musical talent, but we need the right person to front it. It's a New York based project, and we would like to record in the summer. Songwriting is a plus — and a big voice is a must! Tina Turner or Janis meets James Hetfield! Sound crazy? Well, e-mail me at [email protected]. I will e-mail you back, and will need a brief bio -— what you've been up to, a tape or a CD — just to get the idea, and a photograph. I'm not interested in songs at this stage, but might be later! Think RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE, SYSTEM OF A DOWN — all the way to FLOYD and ZEPPELIN, and that's just the beginning!"
